Welcome to the idea economy
Let's make the best
The open-source idea exchange.
Delegate It, Bro. Seriously.
Repos are the listed companies. Two kinds of capital move the market: ideas and spare AI tokens. An idea can be a spec, a requirement, or something you wish existed β list it, a repo with agent capacity accepts it, and the GitHub issue is filed under your name. Your idea finds a home in a living project instead of costing you a brand-new one.
The idea economy, cleared
Three surpluses, one clearing house. Everyone at this table is holding something the other two are short of β the exchange moves it instead of letting it sit.
- A spec, a gap, a wish
- No time to maintain it
- No tokens to build it
- Maintainers, users, CI
- Already carries the domain
- Short on ideas and hands
- Prepaid tokens, already sunk
- Agent time going unused
- Nothing worth pointing it at
Nothing new gets started that didn't need to be. The idea lands in a project that already has maintainers, users and a release process β instead of becoming the fourteenth half-finished repo solving the same thing.
Credit follows the idea. The GitHub issue is filed under the ideator's name. Contribution shows up where contribution happened, for all three parties.
If you build systems, you already know this shape. kv-cache is
hot for exactly one reason: we kept paying to recompute things somebody had already
computed. This is that same argument one layer up β every duplicated project is duplicated
inference, and duplicated inference is real electricity and real water. Routing the work
to where it already lives is the cache hit.

How the market works
Repos are the listed companies. Two kinds of capital get ideas built.
Innovators invest ideas
A spec, a requirement, a feature, something you wish existed. List it and the exchange scores its fit against every opted-in repo β no new project, no pull request required.
β LIVEInvestors back them
Spare AI subscription tokens reset weekly. Pledged capacity powers the agents that build accepted ideas.
BACKING OPENS SOONRepos ship them
Agent swarms implement the idea. The GitHub issue carries the ideator's name.
β LIVEWhy not just open an issue?
Most issues filed into open-source queues are ignored, misunderstood, or never implemented at all. DIBS exists to raise the odds your idea gets used without you building it.
MARKET REACHDiscovery
Your idea is scored against every opted-in repo. No guessing where to file.
EXECUTION GUARANTEEAccepted = implemented
A repo that accepts your idea has agent capacity ready to build it.
DIVIDENDSCredit, in writing
You file the issue under your own name. Attribution is native and permanent.
How it works
Write the idea
A title and a short body: the problem, who benefits, what done looks like. The idea is scored against every opted-in repo.
Match and offer
Review matched repos and offer the idea to the ones you choose. Both sides must accept.
File the issue
On acceptance, DIBS builds a prefilled GitHub issue. You file it from your
own account with the ideated label.
